The William Owen

6 Quay St, Haverfordwest SA61 1BG, UK – 01437 771900

My recent visit to weatherspoons was one of of mixed reviews. Staff friendly although appears a bit understaffed for a bank holiday weekend. More staff needed behind the bar. We enjoyed the outside cider and gin festival with pizza stall. Well done everyone. The down fall was the lift to the outside area remains out of order throughout the summer months. Knowing a lot of people who are unable to negotiate the steps have missed the experience of sitting outside in their beer garden. The women's toilets need some attention, as some cubicals had broken toilet roll holders, the flushes do not work correctly or were broken. Often toilets were left unflushed.

Another success for the J D Weatherspoon chain. Caters for all. Food looks good and the beer is good. Wheel chair access.

The Glen

Merlin's Hill, Haverfordwest SA61 1XA, UK – 01437 760070

We have been coming to the area for 10 years now but this is the first time we have come to The Glen. We are kicking ourselves we haven't come sooner. This is our second visit this week and the food is lovely. We have had two lovely meals. Absolutely gorgeous. Happy to deal with our requests. Service excellent. All the staff we have had have been helpful, friendly and attentive. We'll be back next year if you'll have us!

This pub has been here for years and was once a haunt of mine when going to Pembrokeshire College. Came here for first time in years and it hasn't changed much. Had lunch and enjoyed it. Food was varied and reasonably priced. Parking there is plenty and room to eat outside. There is also a conservatory part but that's too hot if weather outside is warm.

Farmers Arms

1 Holloway, Haverfordwest SA61 2JL, UK – 01437 762432

V helpful staff let us put footy on sky & gave us the remote!

Nice, small pub tucked away around the corner from the towns shopping street. Good for watching sports and a pint in the evening, slightly quieter than the other pubs in town.
