I very much agree with Jeanette below. Staff friendly and rooms tidy and two out of three beds comfortable. But rather than big money spent on it, small things like cleaning the windows, replacing knackered mattress, etc would help massively. The staff did work hard and diligently and unblocked a shower immediately, but these things should be reported by cleaning staff, not by customer mid shower. The breakfast was good, and the price reflected the budget level, but it could be a whole lot more inviting. Would I return; depends what else I could find.
Great food, delicious Sunday carvery with locally sourced meats, lots of veg choice Efficient friendly staff. Fab location in centre of town.

Very friendly staff, beautiful food, very nice breakfast. Room is adequate and quaint. Very comfy bed. Road outside is quite noisy and windows don't really block out sound much. Also window doesn't stay up
Could not sleep due to extremely loud talking and laughing in the downstairs bar. Bar seemed to be busy with locals and staff that served in the restaurant also drinking there. It was also a Wales international rugby day which could have caused this. I know they need to make money but more consideration should be taken for paying guests. Its a shame because the room, food and staff where all great during our one evening stay. Bar eventually went quiet 11.20pm. I give a rating of 4 as everything else was superb. Make sure your room is NOT above the bar when booking in.

A combination of gift shop and cafe, with a cosy and interesting ambience. Booking is advised, although not always necessary. The food is very good, if perhaps a little pricey. The hot chocolate with all the trimmings is a must on a chilly day. This is a good place to meet up with friends, with space upstairs and a large group table if you want to book a special meal. Closest parking is a pay and display at St Thomas Green, or you may be lucky to find limited on-street parking nearby.
Eaten at The George's a few times now, it's one of my favourite places when I stay in Haverfordwest. Polite staff, excellent service & top notch food! Don't forget to peruse their lovely shop which sells a plethora of wonderful goods & gifts 😊 x

Really enjoyed staying here for a couple of nights. Be sure to take up the proprietor's offer to visit the old church and manor house. Fascinating and beautiful to see.
Fantastic. Lovely bedrooms with lounge furniture. Spacious bathroom. Old style but modern functionality. nice selection of guest toiletries. Charming, welcoming and helpful hosts. Breakfast also efficient and varied. Able to meet the other guests too. Manor in its own grounds, so able to walk past the sheep and cattle to visit the ruined chapel and the river nearby. We only visited one night, but felt right at home. Thoroughly recommended.

Nice and clean rooms. Very thoughtfully made up with bottle of water and real glasses instead of plastic cups, as well as usual tea & coffee. Decent size chocolate snack bars with tea and coffee were unexpected and a nice touch. Cooked breakfast very nice and fresh. Great value for money and very attentive/courteous owners. No lift so you need to be able to use stairs to rooms. Free parking on-street with public car park nearby.
Set in the old part of Haverfordwest, College Guest House is an original Georgian building, complete with shutters rather than curtains. I arrived late, after a long drive and received a warm welcome. My room and en-suite bathroom were immaculately clean and I slept like a log, almost missing breakfast! Breakfast was good, and the staff friendly. All in all a definite thumbs up.

Friendly staff and nothing is too much for them. Room clean and everything in working order. Breakfast lovely only small niggle, the breakfast room is small so gets very busy also buffet style service so food runs out quickly and not of the hottest temperature. Apart from that good location and Marston pub The Lost Coins good selection of food and excellent service. Highly recommend.
Lovely clean room. Very well kept hotel by the looks of it. Very pleased with our stay here. Also friendly helpful staff.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
