Cawdor Barracks, Haverfordwest (formerly RAF Brawdy ) is home to 14th Signal Regiment (Electronic Warfare) which is the only British Army Regiment capable of conducting sustainable Electronic Warfare in support of national operations world-wide. The Regiment retains the Freedom of Entry into Gloucester and the Freedom of Celle, and has been honoured with the Freedom of St Davids.

Haverfordwest is the county town of Pembrokeshire which is the most western county in Wales. The town is a short walk from the service families accommodation and offers a range of high street shops, an indoor market, post office and banks as well as a choice of supermarkets. On the last Friday of the month there is also a Farmer's Market, which is held on the riverside complex.

On Camp there is a Londis shop, Library, Gymnasium – which is open to all service personnel and their dependants, Army Learning Centre, Raggi's Bar (Jnr Ranks), Sgts' and Officers' Mess.
